Subscribing and unsubscribing

You can use the Hall and Oates Mailing List user's interface page to subscribe, unsubscribe, or make changes to your subscription. You can also subscribe or unsubscribe from the list by sending an email to ho-list-request@iwcreations.com with the word subscribe or unsubscribe in the subject and/or body of your message.

Sending mail

To send a note to the list, simply send mail to ho-list@iwcreations.com and your note will be forwarded to all subscribers.

Receiving and replying to mail

When you receive a note from the Hall and Oates mailing list, it will have the original author's e-mail address in the return address and "ho-list@iwcreations.com" in the To line. The subject line will begin with "[HO-list]". If you use a spam filter, please be sure to accept mail that comes in with the subject [HO-list]. Since emails show the author's address in the "from" line, you may not be able to subscribe to the list if you block mail from all unknown people. Check with your ISP for more assistance.

When you reply to a message that is sent via the mailing list, most mail programs will reply only to the original author. Be sure to use the "Reply to all" function of your mail reader in order to send a copy of your message back to the other list members. (Obviously if you want to send a private reply, just reply directly to the author.)
