I began creating websites writing HTML by hand using notepad or through a shell login. I eventually found it faster to use FrontPage, and began using Dreamweaver in 2001. I also have extensive experience with Perl, JavaScript, and CSS, and some exposure to ColdFusion, ASP, and XML. I am always willing to learn new technologies. I have designed and supported websites on both NT and UNIX platforms and have experience installing and configuring Apache web server and SSL, as well as working with IIS and Netscape Enterprise Server.
During the past ten years I have worked for several different companies as a web developer and have also continued to work on independent projects. Below is a list of some of the websites that I have worked on. The table is broken up into sections by employer. I have used graphics to identify how much work I did on a particular project, using the following key:
Personally completed all or almost all work in this category.
Did a substantial portion of the work, or worked extensively on a smaller subsection of the site (e.g. built several web pages or worked on a single application), especially on larger web sites.
Provided some assistance in this area. |
These checkmarks also have the alt text of "all or most", "substantial", and "some" respectively, to assist you in identifying the level of work for each category. A blank "programming" column indicates that no advanced programming was used for that project. Links will open in a new window.
Short on time? indicates a top project in my career.
